Parasite Spotlight
The VUE Apartments in downtown near the PSU at 1717 SW Park Ave have been awarded as our Parasite of the month! They provide lavish things, Such as: Mold on the walls, exposed, asbestos, false evictions and so much more! Because of the notable reputation they have as parasites they made it somewhat difficult to see who actually owns the building. Thankfully, they made a little oopsie and we have found that JRK PROPERTY HOLDINGS INC owns the building. JRK PROPERTY HOLDINGS INC resides at 11766 WILSHIRE BLVD., STE. 1500, LOS ANGELES, CA,
The CEO/Founder Jim Lippman of JRK PROPERTY HOLDINGS INC company owns roughly $15 BILLION worth of properties world wide. Jim is the specific parasite who is attributing to the pain and suffering of the people who live at The Vue Apartments. Over the past couple years Tenants have made comments on rateyourlandlordpdx.com such as:
Main elevators are broken regularlyand freight elevator has been broken for almost a year. (Residents use freight elevator to move in and out, staff uses it to do garbage.) Cheapest place this part of town for a reason. my wall is collapsing into my unit. I told them a year ago that it was happening and the maintenance guys just slapped it and said there was nothing they could do until it had completely deteriorated.

Jim Lippman’s cronies also seem to like creating false eviction suits. We found one proceeding that was dated back in 2018 where the “Defendant’s Notice of Removal lacks any objectively reasonable basis for the assertion of federal jurisdiction, whether it is based on federal question under § 1331 or diversity under § 1332. Thus, remand is required under § 1447(c). This case is remanded to the state court. Defendant’s application2 for in forma pauperis status is denied as moot. Signed on June 28, 2018 by Judge Marco A. Hernandez. (cw) (Main Document 8 replaced on 6/28/2018) (cw)”.
Several months ago Renter’s Action Network went door knocking at The Vue Apartments and we met a Tenant who talked about some health issues that they were getting due to the conditions of the complex. He showed us essentially what was a brick of asbestos and showed us other areas that contained asbestos. As we followed him we also came across areas that had mold growing on the walls, and deteriorated paint that was coming off the walls. It just goes to show that Jim Lippman and his management team only care about one thing, Its not the Tenant. It is capital accumulation.
